Fabulous artist

Look how awesome this picture is drawn.  The very creative artist is Treven.  I wish I gave him this ability but I will give credit where credit is due.  Kris is a very good artist too.

Colorado trip 2010

I just want to say thank you to all the people who made this trip possible for me to go. Which is my beautiful Mother, Josh and Jake.  I love you guys for helping me out at the last minute.

If this doesn't make you smile you have problems.  They had a tin bath for the kids to get clean in at the cabin.  Ky loved taking a bath on the deck.

This is some of Jay's family we were with.

Mom, this is where I called you from and it was extremely windy.

Ky was trying to skip rocks.

This tree swing was fun.

Hilary Weeks "My Favorite Things"

Let's laugh again! Ü

"To Do List" by Hilary Weeks

Ok, enough serious stuff! Let's laugh!

Did you feel it?

I was listening to yldsr.com when this song (I love you son, see next post) came on and I bawled like a baby! I'm either easily moved or this song has a deep message that I felt deeply. What do you think?

Swagger Wagon

Has anyone seen this video? I thought it was hilarious, I had tears streaming down. Enough of the explanation, or it'll never live up to the hype. Just watch it. I guess I need to get me a Sienna if I am going to be cool. If you didn't catch that, click on the word "Sienna" that I just typed (Joe, did you get that? just checking)
If I am the lame one and it didn't work, go to youtube.com and type in 'Swagger wagon' and watch the second video on the list. GO GO GO!

Awesome Possum

This is the acoustic version of one of my favorite songs. Since St. George has HORRIBLE radio stations, James and I like to listen to the bands we love on youtube.com. I hope you love it as much as I do. Just listen to the words (I know you don't typically do that, Melissa) and it has a really good message put to good music. ENJOY!

On a lighter note

Finally removed the baby count down thingy to the right. I'm not into getting depressed all over again every time I visit this blasted blog, thank you very much.
On a lighter note, we are a happy family and are happy to have each other.
This was on crazy hair day. You can't really tell they have crazy hair at first glance, but I wasn't going to burst their bubble.

James is the coolest, hottest, awesomest, bestest friend I have ever had. He took me out to sushi tonight cause it's my favorite and because I can now have it. One of the "positive things to get out of" a sad situation.
Little Skiz will just have to be the baby of the family now. He does it so well. I don't think he was ready to be dethroned anyway.

Thanks for being such a good family through all of this. I felt like I had the best support anyone could ever have. Mom and Dad, you raised some pretty awesome kids. I love you all!

Guess Who?

Tanner took a ceramics class. One week, his project was to make a bust of a family member. Can you guess who he chose?

Disneyland was so awesome!!

In toontown we like to act like dorks.
But everyone was doing it, so it's cool. Isn't that the rule?

In line for Indiana Jones, I heard Adam talking to mostly himself saying, "Those people who are already done and getting off are so lucky". I promise I didn't force him on the ride, he wanted to try it, but he didn't go on anymore after that.
P.S Look at me posing like I think I'm all that and a bucket of chips. Swear it wasn't on purpose.
Skizzy mapping out his next thrill.
Pirates of the Caribbean was not a good thrill for Isaac. He spent the whole time like this on my shoulder. Of course I would never choose to have my kid scared, but how cute is that to have your child snuggle you the whole time? LOVE IT. To prove that I am not an opportunist, I didn't take him on the ride again. So there.
We love going into downtown Disney and into the Disney store to try on all the rockin hats.

I think Adam looks a little like Matthew in that goofy hat.

Isaac LOVED the carousel. LOVED LOVED LOVED
that damned carousel. I was so dizzy and nauseous after the 20th time.
But who doesn't want to see that sweet little face of his when he's in his element?
There are lots more pictures, but that's just a taste of how much fun we had last week. Disneyland rocks!! (Despite what Dad and Melissa says)

Natalie

Natalie is an amazing young woman. She is the Beehive class president. She made the High Honor Roll with a 4.0 grade point!!! We were so excited. She has been invited to go to UVU for a math competition this month. She is now 5' 11" and is playing the piano beautifully. She is very excited that she turns 14 this month. She still reads anything put in front of her. I borrowed "The Undaunted" from Kristy to read. It took me a couple of weeks. Nat read it in three days. Punk!

Tanner

Tanner is an awesome scout. This is the pack meeting where he received the last of ALL 20 Webelos awards! This hasn't been done for a while in our pack. It is also the pack meeting where he received his Arrow of Light. Keep in mind this was back in October. Now he is earning Merit Badges in his 11-year-old scout troop. On Sunday he had a Board of Review where they asked him what his goals for scouting were. He wants to have his Eagle by 14!!! Go Tanner. The last picture is a sugar cube castle he built. He had a report to do on castles and wanted to do a little extra credit "just in case."
