WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY HECK!!! I am so unbelievably happy!!! Seriously, I have been so sick and "tossing my cookies". I prayed this morning after Rob dropped off the application. He was told another family had looked at the house after us. I thought....That's it. We're not getting it. I prayed SO hard for them to pray and their hearts to be softened towards us.
CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT THE OWNER SAID TO ME WHEN HE CALLED???
I read over your application and prayed real hard...I just feel you and your family are humble and would treat our home with as much love as you can give.

I will take pics as soon as we can. They have pomegranite, pear, and other fruit trees up in the back besides a gorgeous place for a garden THAT he said he would put in a drip system for me! Heck, I am just so grateful I can use a hose. I don't need a fancy "system". LOL

OH MY HECK....*sigh* I am shaking, have a headache and I'm SO happy!

New House? and assult rifle LOL

Okay, I know not everyone checks this thing all the time...BUT if you check the blog and see this PLEASE pray for the approval in to this new house. Our landlords want to move back in this one and we found a great 4 bed, @ 2100 sq ft on Diagonal St. Rob said it will go fine, but I am so sick to my stomach and haven't slept in 3 days. I HATE the stinkin in between stage of things. *sigh*

Um, by the way...we were going to look at it today when we saw 2 cop cars at the corner (like 5-6 houses down). The cop put on an assult rifle and RAN to some house. We're thinking if you need an assult rifle you better have more than two cops at the scene. Hmmmm....

College Transfer

I am really excited to share that I changed colleges AND degree programs. :> I left the University of Phoenix, whom I have been with since 2005. I started a Bachelors in Business Mgmt. because Rob was in the Army and we thought what would happen if he was killed. (Hey, we had to be realistic.) I hate business but knew an immediate job would be important.
Well, now that he is hopefully going to live until I die...I wanted to get into the field that interested me. I entered into Colorado Tech's Criminal Justice degree. I am getting my Associates first and then will get my Bachelors (that is just how they do it). Over half of my credits will not transfer over since I was close to my other degree, but that is how it goes. *sigh* The classes are doubled though and it will go quicker. We are both excited. This school has clubs to join and other exciting learning tools. Rob is excited because this Sunday is a Forensics Field Examiner/Investigator who is doing a presentation online with gross pictures!

Northern California Trip

Kris and I visited Northern California last weekend. First couple of nights we stayed in the beautiful wine country Napa Valley. The first two pictures are of our hotel there. I forgot to take pics of the vineyards which would have been gorgeous.

The last two days we were in the San Ramon area and that too was gorgeous with the green rolling hills. The pictures just don't do it justice.

Bread

I am so excited!! Rob bought me a bread machine when we first got to UT. I had not used it cus, well it was from the DI and I was scared. Mom made fresh bread this weekend and it was so yummy and I broke down. I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!!!
God bless that wonderful wonderful person who invented this machine! I would take a pic but all of our batteries are dead. *sigh*
I feel triumphant and rested!! (rested because I was making the stinkin bread by hand...no nothing)
