Katy won Reflections again in the Visual Arts for her age group. This is the third year she entered and the third year she received a trophy. Her art didn't go past the Council level, but who cares! She drew each of these flowers herself and then decorated with various craft items. Isn't she a sweetie?

stifled, but no so stifled
Adam is so awesome and smart and he's a really good brother. This year he started out great with behavior, normal you would say. Then he met a partner in crime that I am so not thrilled with and since then he's gotten like, 3 or 4 red cards. RED CARDS! Adam? No way. Look at that sweet face.
Anyway, punishment and tears aside, this is his note that Mr. Lowe made him write home to me to tell me what he did and how he's going to be better.
If you can't read his writing (a skill I have developed out of careful practice), the top part says, "Dear Mom, I was climbing the fence with Alex and Austin, I climbed the fence twice, not once, not thrice, but twice.
I thought that was pretty fricken funny.
I was trying to stifle a laugh because getting a red card is no laughing matter, but his note was so funny with it's exact-ness. That is so Adam. Very precise in explaining things even when he's in trouble.
