My Blog

The kids made me post some shots of the hard work and then we have some Saturday pics up! ;>

Grandpa and the pumpkin

Ok, Matt! Grandpa is true to his promise. He put his head next to your pumpkin so you can see the difference in size. The second picture he made a "pumpkin" face! haha Can you tell it is turning orange?

This pumpkin is the one that was climbing up the fence and unfortunately some critters have gotten to it. :( So now we only have one pumpkin growing. Hopefully our one pumpkin will be safe.

The first half of June was cloudy, rainy here and there and absolutely gorgeous. We saw this really pretty rainbow when we came home one night. My camera doesn't do it justice, but just picture it really vibrant and clear, colorful.

This is the first time in my life I have attempted to start a garden and I am having such a fun time coming out every morning to look at the progress. Isaac loves to "help" me too.

This is the very first blossom on my tomato plants.

This is my cucumber plant. I love the little curly-q on the end.
It reminds me of the cinderella coach. I know, that was a pumpkin.
It still had the curly-q thingy, though.
This is a blossom from my pepper plant. I don't know what kind
of pepper plant it is, but I am excited to see something come up.
First cucumber grown from my work!!! I sliced it up for a snack and it was perfectly juicy.
This is one of my new hobbies and I love it so much. How cool would it be to have a nice
big salad with everything in it coming from my back yard.

McKenzie's Hair

McKenzie needed to improve on her DOO. ;> Sweet girl chose dark brown. Unfortunately, her hair has red in it like mine and instead of the dark brown...she got STRAWBERRY BLONDE! I think she just looks absolutely cute though!! She wanted everyone to see.

She looks soooo pretty huh?!!!

I made her squat next to the flowers. lol

This pic may be my favorite one.
